Home-Start Wirral was launched in Birkenhead in January 2000, and over the years has gradually expanded to cover the whole of Wirral.

 

As with Home-Start schemes in other parts of Merseyside, nationally and internationally we find demand for our dedicated volunteers is always high. Families seem to welcome the support because it is so informal and based simply on friendship, trust and non-judgemental understanding.
